Photo tips for UPSC CDS
- UPSC online forms allow a wider KB band (often up to 300 KB) — still compress sensibly; very large files can timeout on upsconline.gov.in during peak hours.
- UPSC sample photos require a white background, frontal view, and no shadows on the face.
- CDS II entries for IMA/INA/AFA require clean-shaven or neatly groomed photos per defence standards in the UPSC notice.
Signature tips
