Photo tips for CSIR NET

  • SSC's ssc.gov.in portal shows a live file-size readout — compress to the middle of the allowed KB band so a re-save does not push you over the max.
  • Use a plain white or light-coloured background; SSC sample images show ears visible and no cap or sunglasses.
  • NTA exams (JEE, NEET, CUET, UGC NET, CSIR NET) use nta.ac.in with strict live photo capture rules in some cycles — if the notice allows upload, match the sample aspect ratio exactly.
