Global Product Manager – Energy Valves (HVAC)

We are partnering with a leading international manufacturer of HVAC control solutions to hire a Global Product Manager for its Energy Valves and electronic pressure-independent valve portfolio. You will own the upstream product lifecycle worldwide, from strategy and roadmap to development and industrialization. You will work closely with regional product managers in the Americas, EMEA and APAC, and with engineering teams in Europe.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct StrategyDefine and maintain the global product strategy for the Energy Valve portfolio, aligned with company growth objectives. Gather customer and sales input together with regional product managers. Turn strategy into roadmaps, priorities and lifecycle actions. Product Development & IndustrializationTake part in new product development within a stage-gate process. Deliver product management documents such as stakeholder

requirements, market concept documents and business cases. Act as the single point of contact for product management topics with Innovation, PMO and Manufacturing Engineering. Review system

requirements and other technical documentation. Customer Validation & Field TestingPlan and run validation scenarios with internal and external customers to confirm product-market fit. Coordinate global field tests. Pricing & Value PropositionDefine strategic pricing together with regional product management. Build the global value proposition and key selling points for new solutions.

Product Lifecycle ManagementDrive the creation of technical documentation and set key milestones for regional launch plans. Support regional teams with launch concepts, sales enablement, marketing and training materials, including product demonstrations. Help resolve quality cases quickly. Define the preferred product offering and configurable options. Plan and track phase-in/phase-out transitions.

Monitor commercial performance and KPIs, find gaps, lead root cause analysis and propose countermeasures.

Candidate ProfileMust-HavesBachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, or equivalent technical experience5+ years of product management experience with physical or technical productsBackground in HVAC, hydronic systems, building automation or cooling technologiesProven track record of delivering projects on time and removing roadblocksStructured, analytical and fact-based approach to problem-solvingStrong collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus across regions and balance competing interestsExcellent written and verbal English Nice-to-HavesExperience with Asia-Pacific, Americas and/or European marketsKnowledge of data center cooling applications5+ years in manufacturing for building automation or HVAC controlsExperience with control valves, pressure-independent valves or actuatorsFamiliarity with stage-gate product development processes.
