Visual Merchandiser

Role OverviewAs a Visual Merchandise Assistant, you will be responsible for transforming our retail stores into visually captivating shopping spaces that tell our brand stories. Working closely with the Visual Merchandising (VM) Manager and Store Operations, you will execute windows, in-store displays, and mannequin styling that align with Suyen Corporation’s high design standards.

This is a highly creative, fast-paced, and active role perfect for individuals with a sharp eye for fashion, layout, and consumer trends.

Key

Responsibilities Display Execution & StylingExecute and maintain seasonal window displays, in-store hotspots, and point-of-sale (POS) setups according to official VM guidelines and planograms. Dress and style mannequins, bust forms, and focal walls to showcase current collections, trending color stories, and high-margin key items. Ensure all merchandise on display is properly steamed, priced, tagged, and presented immaculately.

Store Layout & Inventory CoordinationCollaborate with Store Supervisors and Managers to optimize floor layouts, ensuring high-traffic areas are maximized and customer flow is seamless. Monitor stock levels of displayed items and coordinate with the store team to replenish items from the stockroom as they sell out. Ensure correct signage, promotional banners, and price communication props are accurately placed and up to date.

Prop & VM Asset MaintenanceInstall, dismantle, and safely store seasonal display props, fixtures, and lighting assets. Regularly check store lighting and the physical condition of props, reporting any damages or maintenance needs to the VM headquarters. Conduct regular store visits to audit VM execution, providing feedback and adjustments to store staff when necessary.

Job QualificationsExperience: At least 1 year of experience in Visual Merchandising, fashion styling, window dressing, or retail store display. (Experience working with fast-fashion apparel or lifestyle brands is highly preferred). Education: Graduate or college undergraduate in Fine Arts, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Marketing, Communications, or any creative discipline. Skills: * Strong eye for commercial fashion trends, color coordination, and spatial design.

Ability to interpret creative design briefs and translate them into physical floor displays. Basic knowledge of space planning, store layouts, and retail consumer behavior. Attributes: Highly creative, proactive, and physically fit to handle lifting, climbing ladders, and setting up heavy props. Availability: Willing to travel to various store locations and work flexible hours, including overnight store setups or early morning ingress/egress.
