RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting client advisory, and helping streamline internal processes for a growing U. S.-based accounting firm. Your

responsibilities will include: Own the month-end close process: Manage bank feeds, perform reconciliations, and ensure balance sheets are clean and up to date. Apply Trust Accounting for assigned property manager clients, applying a three-way reconciliation with the use of various tech tools while integrating with Quickbooks OnlineYear-end close support: Help finalize books and work closely with tax preparers to ensure accurate filings.

Prepare and review financial reports: Assist in generating client-ready monthly reports and dashboards, including analysis on budget vs. actuals and KPIs. Forecasting and budgeting: Collaborate with the team and clients to build basic budgets and projections, particularly for small business ownersDaily accounting operations: Work extensively in QuickBooks Online for full-cycle accounting tasks including journal entries, AP/AR review, and cleanup work.

Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:4+ years of accounting experience, ideally with U. -based small business clients across different industries. )Strong command of full-cycle accounting, with hands-on experience in monthly closes, reconciliations, reporting, and cleanup projects.
