Metro Oil is looking for a qualified and execution-driven In-House Architect to support the planning, design, coordination, and improvement of our gas station and retail network. This role is ideal for an architect who can translate business

requirements into clear site plans, construction drawings, layouts, and design standards. The architect will work closely with internal teams, contractors, engineers, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure that Metro Oil projects are designed properly, coordinated clearly, and executed on time. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan, design, and coordinate architectural

requirements for new stations, renovations, site improvements, retail upgrades, and other company construction projects. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare architectural plans, layouts, drawings, and diagrams for gas stations, retail spaces, offices, support facilities, and related company projects. Create clear AutoCAD drawings that communicate design intent, site

requirements, measurements, layouts, and construction details. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, LGUs, consultants, internal operations teams, and project owners to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct site visits and evaluations to verify actual site conditions, measurements, constraints, construction quality, and compliance with approved plans.

Support the planning and design of new gas station projects, renovations, forecourt improvements, retail layouts, signage, back-office areas, and tenant spaces. Review contractor work and provide recommendations throughout the construction process. Monitor project progress and help ensure that timelines, budgets, design standards, and quality

requirements are followed. Assist in preparing project schedules, scope of work, material specifications, and basic cost coordination. Ensure designs consider safety, customer flow, operational efficiency, brand standards, regulatory

requirements, and long-term maintenance. Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure work is aligned with plans, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Help create and maintain Metro Oil’s standard design playbook for stations, offices, retail spaces, signage, and future site developments. Identify design or construction issues early and recommend practical solutions before they delay the project.

Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, permits, site reports, contractor updates, and project files. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture. Licensed Architect preferred. At least 3 years of experience in architecture, construction, project coordination, or site development. Experience in gas stations, retail, commercial construction, quick-service restaurants, convenience stores, or multi-site rollout projects is an advantage.

Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design software is an advantage. Strong understanding of construction drawings, site planning, materials, building systems, and project execution. Able to conduct site inspections and communicate clearly with contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational, coordination, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Detail-oriented, practical, and able to balance design quality with cost, timeline, safety, and operational needs. Willing to travel to Metro Oil stations and project sites as needed.
