AI Operations Strategist

Full-time · Remote · Must overlap US Central time · Long-term We’re a US-based technology company building AI agent infrastructure for the short-term rental industry. Our platform replaces entire job functions — revenue management, bookkeeping, guest communications — with coordinated AI agents, and we’re bringing it to operators across North America.

We’re hiring our first AI Operations Specialist: a sharp, curious, detail-obsessed person who will help onboard clients, configure and QA our AI agents, and keep deployments running flawlessly. You’ll work directly with the founder, and you’ll learn the system by helping run real client onboardings from day one. This is a ground-floor role — we intend to stay lean in headcount and large in impact, which means your scope and responsibility grow fast.

You are NOT a developer in this role — but you’re completely comfortable around technical systems, you’re genuinely excited about AI, and you learn new tools faster than most people read the manual.

What you’ll do: • Help onboard clients: account setup, PMS integrations (Hospitable, Hostaway, Guesty), credential configuration • Configure, test, and QA AI agents before deployments go live • Monitor client dashboards and agent activity; catch anomalies before clients notice • Write and maintain SOPs and documentation (Notion) • Handle first-line client support with excellent written English • Light API work: testing endpoints, reading JSON, verifying webhooksWhat we’re looking for • 2+ years in a technical-adjacent role (technical VA, support engineer, QA, implementation, automation) • Genuine, demonstrable interest in AI — you use these tools daily, you follow where the field is going, you’ve built or automated something yourself • Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and JSON — you don’t need to write code, but a payload doesn’t scare you • Excellent written English — clients read your words and assume they’re ours • “Figures it out” instinct — when something breaks, you investigate before you escalate • Calm with ambiguity — early-stage work has no script, and that energizes rather than stresses you • Reliable internet + backup power, 4+ hours of US Central overlap Nice to have • Short-term rental / hospitality experience (Airbnb, PMS platforms, channel managers) • Make / Zapier / n8n automation • Basic Python or JavaScript • Prior experience supporting a solo founder or early startupCompensation: competitive full-time salary, paid monthly, with growth into a team-lead role as we scale.
