Role DescriptionThe Construction Manager (Water Project) is a full-time, on-site position based in Metro Manila.

The role is responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities for water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, treatment facilities, and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory

requirements.

Key

responsibilities include supervising construction progress, coordinating with contractors and engineers, and ensuring that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The Construction Manager will monitor quality control processes, review inspection results, and take the lead in resolving technical, construction, and compliance issues.

A critical responsibility of this role is the planning and allocation of inspection personnel across multiple project sites, ensuring adequate site coverage and efficient deployment based on construction priorities. The Construction Manager is also responsible for assessing and reporting required manpower levels to the project management team, ensuring that staffing aligns with project timelines and workload.

The role involves regular reporting to project management, including progress updates, risk identification, and recommendations for corrective actions. The Construction Manager also plays a key role in ensuring that environmental and public health considerations are properly addressed throughout project execution. This position requires flexibility in working hours and locations in accordance with project needs.

Preference will be given to candidates who are able to respond to night-time construction works. A night shift allowance will be provided in addition to the regular salary. Project sites are located in Quezon City, Caloocan City, and surrounding areas. Preference will be given to candidates who can commute directly to these sites. A transportation allowance will be provided in addition to the regular salary.

QualificationsProven experience in construction management or supervision of infrastructure or utility projects, particularly in water-related works. , transmission/distribution pipelines, installation methods, jointing systems, pressure testing, and commissioning). Experience in managing and coordinating site inspection teams, including task allocation and performance oversight. Ability to evaluate manpower

requirements and report staffing needs to project management based on site conditions and construction schedules. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and public agencies. Commitment to safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering; professional license is a must.

Certification of safety officer is an advantageWho is able to work in project site in Quezon City, Caloocan City.
