Modular Expert/Prefabrication Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Prefabrication Specialist / Expert to lead and support our off-site construction initiatives remotely. This role focuses on prefabrication strategy, DfMA coordination, factory oversight, and BIM integration while working closely with on-site project teams in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate understands California building codes, seismic

requirements, and prefab workflows, and can manage vendors and production schedules without being on site full-time.

Responsibilities:Collaborate remotely with architects and engineers to ensure designs are optimized for prefabrication (DfMA) and seismic requirementsReview shop drawings, factory models, and production schedules for prefab componentsCoordinate with off-site manufacturing partners and conduct virtual quality reviews and auditsSupport logistics planning for deliveries, sequencing, and installation schedulesWork with on-site teams to ensure prefab components integrate correctly with site-built workUse BIM tools to track fabrication data and align factory output with site conditionsIdentify risks early and resolve design, production, or coordination issues before installation Required
