SSC GD 2026 Photo & Signature Specifications

For the SSC GD Constable 2026 online form you usually upload a passport-style photograph (20 KB – 50 KB) and a hand-written signature scan (10 KB – 20 KB). Use JPEG, a plain white or light background, and a clearly visible face without sunglasses or a cap.

Many applications are rejected because the photograph file is outside the stated KB range — often the upload is far too large straight from a phone. Our SSC Photo preset compresses into the 20–50 KB band while preserving reasonable quality.

SSC 2026 — typical requirements:

DocumentSize LimitFormatDimensions
Passport Photo20 KB – 50 KBJPEG200×230 px (approx)
Signature10 KB – 20 KBJPEG140×60 px (approx)
Thumb Impression10 KB – 20 KBJPEG140×60 px (approx)

How do I get my signature under 20 KB?

Scanned signatures are often too large. Steps: (1) Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper. (2) Photograph it in bright, even light so the stroke stays sharp. (3) Select the SSC Signature preset here — the tool adjusts quality and dimensions into the 10–20 KB band. (4) Download and upload on the official portal. No separate app is required.

UPSC, IBPS, SBI PO — Photo Specifications Guide

UPSC Civil Services photographs must usually sit between 20 KB and 300 KB — wider than SSC, but a typical 3–5 MB phone JPEG still fails validation. The UPSC preset brings the file into range in one step.

IBPS PO / SBI PO portals commonly cap photographs around 50 KB with a 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm specification. Banking gateways reject slightly oversized files; use the Bank Exam preset.

RRB NTPC / Group D notices typically require photographs under 100 KB. Many railway forms cannot be edited after submission — compress and verify the KB count before you submit.

Privacy-first processing 🔒

Many online compressors upload your image to a remote server, which can leave copies outside your control. Aapka Helper is different: the whole workflow runs inside your browser. Your photograph never leaves your device over the network. That makes it a safer choice for anyone handling personal ID-style photos.
