Job Summary The Reconciliation Officer under the Monitoring and Reconciliation Department's primary purpose is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of consumer loans financial records by comparing and matching the consumer loans management system and the general ledger, including identifying discrepancies, errors and their corresponding corrections and/or adjustments, ultimately leading to a more reliable financial reporting and supporting informed decision-making.
How will you contribute? 1. Daily monitoring and review of GL accounts for any abnormal balance, float items, and discrepancy between SL and GL, in compliance to all applicable regulations and accounting standards related to loan accounting. 2. Investigate and resolve any differences between loan system records, the general ledger, and other financial records. 3. Preparation of various schedules for Certification of Balances (COB) and reporting purposes 4.
Updates the status and/or disposition of outstanding balances of Accounts included in the monthly and quarterly aging reports. 5. Coordinates with the concerned units, including escalation of unresolved long outstanding items. 6. Preparation of life insurance such as CLI or Credit Life Insurance and MRI or Mortgage Redemption Insurance and non-life insurance such as Fire Insurance and Motor Comprehensive Insurance for monthly remittance to third party agencies. 7.
Monitors the Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PGC) enrolled consumer loan portfolio and its movement under, including timely remittances and compliance to the terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Agreement with PGC. 8. Contribute to general ledger and loan system projects, including conversions, testing, and enhancements. What will make you successful? Bachelor’s Degree in any Business-related course. Accounting Graduate is preferrable.
Knowledge of bank operations and accounting-related functions, including bank’s internal policies/rules and regulations. With 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience in loans accounting and reconciliation, including familiarity with loan accounting systems, general ledger systems, and other relevant software. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly spreadsheet analysis #J-18808-Ljbffr. Compensation: 300 - 480.
