Director of Construction

About the CompanyOur client is seeking an experienced Construction Executive to lead its construction organization and deliver complex, large-scale development programs. This role is ideal for leaders who have successfully managed national portfolios, built high-performing teams, and driven strategic project execution across multiple sites.

About the RoleAs the Vice President / Construction Director, you will provide strategic leadership for the organization's construction function, overseeing the full lifecycle of multiple large-scale projects—from planning and budgeting through execution, governance, and successful delivery.

This position requires a visionary leader capable of scaling construction operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall construction strategy and organizational direction.

Oversee end-to-end project delivery including:PlanningExecutionBudgetingSchedulingRisk ManagementQuality AssuranceStakeholder ManagementBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing construction organization. Drive operational excellence, governance, safety, and compliance. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Manage multiple project sites across the country.

Must-Have Qualifications15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction and project delivery. Proven experience leading large-scale, complex construction and development programs.

Demonstrated success delivering one or more of the following:Retail store rollout programs (20–100+ stores)Distribution and logistics centersHypermarketsWarehouse-format developmentsCommercial developmentsMixed-use developmentsIndustrial parksTownship developmentsExperience managing multi-billion-peso CAPEX programs. Experience overseeing national or regional multi-site construction portfolios. Willing to work in Makati City with frequent travel to project sites nationwide.
