• Step 4 — Admit card: Print your admission card from doenets.lk before the written exam — cards are not posted.

SLAS exam dates 2026 — what to watch

There is no fixed national SLAS exam date every year. The last major open competitive cycles were gazette-driven; registration and exam months are announced only when the PSC approves a new intake.

After selection — Grade III to Special Grade

Appointees enter at Grade III. Promotion to Grade II, Grade I, and Special Grade follows the SLAS Service Minute (Gazette 1842/2 and revisions) and PA circulars — including Efficiency Bar examinations for serving officers.
