Eligibility
- Citizens of Sri Lanka; age below 45 years as at 8 June 2026.
- Route A: UGC-recognized degree in Tamil stream with English as a subject + 3 years Tamil Translator experience (Tamil ↔ English).
- Route B: UGC-recognized degree in English stream + GCE A/L & O/L (Tamil medium) + Distinction in Tamil at O/L + 5 years translator experience.
- Route C: UGC-recognized degree + 10 years Tamil Translator experience.
- Sinhala ↔ Tamil translation experience is an added advantage.
Salary & selection
- Permanent appointment; one-year probation.
- Scale: Rs. 113,040 – Rs. 150,640 (1,880 × 20); approx. gross Rs. 247,619 initially.
- Fringe benefits: medical scheme, bonus, staff loans, PF/ETF, pension per NSB rules.
- Selection: written test then interview.
