Software Engineering Manager

Position Overview Autodesk is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team within the Growth Experience Technology (GET) organization. The team builds integrations and platform capabilities that empower Customer Success teams to drive customer adoption, engagement, retention, and business outcomes at scale. In this role, you will lead, hire, nurture, and grow a team of talented engineers while staying close to technology.

You will provide technical direction, review designs, guide delivery, develop proof of concepts when needed, and collaborate closely with Architects, Product Managers, Program Managers, and cross-functional engineering teams. We are looking for a hands-on, technology-forward engineering leader who embraces AI-assisted development, modern engineering practices, and technology disruption.

js, Express or similar modern web application developmentExperience working with databases and designing data-driven applicationsExperience with AWS cloud services and exposure to serverless architecturesExperience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Argo CDStrong understanding of software design, code quality, design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practicesExperience collaborating with Architects, Product Managers, Program Managers, and cross-functional engineering teamsAbility to manage delivery, priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectationsStrong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and execution skills Preferred QualificationsExperience building customer-facing commerce, digital experience, SaaS, or enterprise web platformsExperience designing and operating scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applicationsHands-on experience developing proof of concepts and evaluating new technologiesFamiliarity with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ECS, or similar AWS servicesExperience with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practicesExperience improving developer productivity through automated build, test, security scan, and deployment pipelinesExperience with observability, monitoring, logging, incident response, and production supportStrong enthusiasm for AI, emerging technologies, and modern software development practicesHands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platformsExperience advocating for responsible AI adoption within engineering teamsAbility to balance technical depth, people leadership, delivery execution, and business impactCreative and innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo and help teams go above and beyond#LI-RV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
