Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)Salary: $200kTotal compensation: $400k-700k Data is becoming increasingly important to a leading global trading firm, driving the need for reliable, high-quality data at scale. This is a greenfield opportunity to help shape how data operations are managed, building the tooling, automation and standards that support a growing, data-driven trading environment.

The role is approximately 70% engineering and 30% operations, with a focus on solving operational problems through engineering rather than purely providing support. What you’ll doImprove observability across end-to-end data pipelines. Build automation, monitoring, dashboards and data-quality checks. Onboard new datasets and ensure reliable ingestion and processing. Investigate data issues and implement long-term fixes.

Develop shared tooling and frameworks to improve reliability at scale. Work with technologies including Databricks, Delta Tables, SFTP and varied data formats. Automate data ingestion, transformation and mapping across different sources. Investigate alerts and production issues, improving systems to prevent recurrence.
