ETA required
Dutch visitors need a UK ETA
ETA required for travel from 2 April 2025
Dutch citizens need a UK ETA for travel from 2 April 2025. Amsterdam Schiphol is one of Europe’s busiest UK feeders — KLM and BA will not board without the authorisation. Eurostar Amsterdam–London also clears UK controls before departure. If you have EU Settlement Scheme status, skip the ETA. The Netherlands’ own entry rules do not issue a UK ETA. Fee £20. Children each need one. A Dutch residence permit in a non-Dutch passport does not make that passport Dutch for UK purposes.
