QA/QC Engineer - Electrical

I. Job Summary Participate in the procurement and manufacturing process of Electrical equipment (Transformer, Subsea Cable, etc. ) from RFQ to shipment, handling any quality issues (TBE, PO, KOM, PIM, Manufacturing, In-progress Inspection, Pressure Test, FAT, Final Inspection, etc.). II. Principal

Responsibilities To become familiar with the company's

requirements Participate in various meetings with the Vendor/Company to ensure that the vendor knows the company's quality

requirements. Attend KOM and prepare the quality section of the KOM slide. ) Communicate with the vendor/COMPANY regarding controversial comments or feedback, and raise a clarification meeting if necessary. Make every effort to ensure PIM is held as scheduled.

Organize PIM meeting as host Verify NOI readiness and forward to TPC coordinator for vendor inspection Review and comment TPC inspection report Issue NCR if discrepancies are identified and expedite the vendor's resolution proposal / RCA (If necessary) within 3 working days of receiving NCR by vendor. Review the manufacturer's record book / As-built dossier. III. Education/Experience

Requirements/ Certification Shall have a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering. Shall have 8 years' experience directly relating to the inspection/execution of manufacturing activities. Shall have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001 quality system

requirements and implementation. Shall demonstrate working knowledge of codes required by the purchase order, such as National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC 60076 or equivalent standards, etc. Shall have IEC 60079 qualification IV. Behavioral/Technical Skills Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Quick learner and problem solver Good office software skills and computer knowledge Patient, teamwork Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
