About the RoleWe are currently seeking a dynamic and performance-driven professional to join our Engineering team as a Utility Engineer / Sr. Utility Engineer at our Production plant in Faisalabad.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of utility systems while driving maintenance planning, troubleshooting, spare parts readiness, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and oversee utility operations including HVAC systems, compressors, water treatment systems, and related utility equipmentPrepare and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtimeLead troubleshooting activities and identify root causes of equipment failures to prevent recurrenceMonitor utility equipment performance and take necessary actions to improve machine availability and efficiencyManage spare parts planning, inventory readiness, and maintenance tools to ensure uninterrupted operationsSupervise maintenance activities and provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to techniciansCoordinate installation, modification, and maintenance activities while ensuring adherence to technical standardsMonitor maintenance expenses and ensure activities are executed within approved budgetsCollaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective utility operationsEnsure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), QDMS

requirements, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standardsParticipate in audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across utility operationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering5–8 years of relevant experience in utility operations, maintenance engineering, or industrial utilities within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of HVAC systems, compressors, water treatment systems, and utility equipmentKnowledge of pumps, bearings, couplings, engines, and rotating equipmentExperience in preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and breakdown reductionFamiliarity with spare parts planning, inventory management, and warehouse coordinationProficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ERP/SAP systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skillsAdvanced English communication skillsAt Hayat, we conduct fair and inclusive hiring processes.
