About the Role To assist the Application/Technical Manager in implementation and execution of all initiatives according to the ISS division strategy, manage solutioning and roadmap of the technology platform or end‑solutions, serve as the SME for key technology areas, and implement solutioning according to design philosophy emphasizing system attributes such as flexibility and modularity. Responsibilities IT Application Management Manage and execute the development, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing information systems and software packages. Manage effective delivery with cost efficiency and total quality, ensuring that the investment in IT realizes the intended

benefits. Define action plans to support IT strategy through sound planning, established methods and resourcing to deliver projects within agreed timelines. Manage, enforce and review system change adhered to software development life cycle and software quality management. Manage and optimize system delivery aligned to Enterprise Architecture framework. Manage application availability with timely resolution of issues and problems.

Resource & Team Management Manage and optimize resource planning and utilization to deliver maximum output to support business demands. Coach and mentor team to acquire the technical skills needed to execute their jobs. Ensure team performance aligns with division and company strategy. Design Accountable for a set of solution portfolio to ensure solutions are scalable and performance optimized. Translate business and functional

requirements into system solutions. Lead development, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems. Act as the technical lead in complex projects and initiatives that drive business growth. Development Develop software code based on best practices and guidelines. Perform unit and SIT testing before deploying to UAT. Support and resolve UAT issues.

Execute second‑level production and incident support through close interaction with first‑level support. Scale of projects/systems handled: Medium to high complexity projects as technical lead, accountable for end‑to‑end application delivery. Collaboration with partners, project managers, product managers, business analysts, IT SMEs, vendors, IT security, solution architects and infrastructure. Job

Requirements Degree in IT from an accredited institution; Master’s degree preferred. 5‑8 years of experience in an IT application development environment, with 1‑2 years in supervisory experience. Experience in executing IT projects with high expertise in system application and technology implementation delivery. Strong communication skills for interacting with middle management, internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Domain proficiency in insurance business and operations including distribution channels. Ability to work independently and be highly self‑motivated.
