Assistant or Supervisor (Product Formulation)

Overview Company Name: QL Farms Sdn Bhd Work Location: Apas, Tawau Position Title: Assistant / Supervisor – Product Formulation Snapshot Of The Role We are in the process of establishing a food manufacturing plant in Tawau as part of our expanding downstream business. This facility will focus on producing high-quality processed meat products with strong emphasis on food safety, consistency, and continuous product improvement.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced talent to join the team and support product formulation and continuous improvement.

You Are Driven To Assist in food product formulation, trials, and continuous fine-tuning to achieve desired taste, texture, yield, and cost efficiency Support production trials during plant setup, commissioning, and scale-up stages Work closely with production, QA, and operations teams to translate formulations into stable and repeatable manufacturing processes Conduct ingredient testing, dosage adjustments, and process evaluations Document formulation parameters, trial results, and improvement actions Monitor product consistency and support corrective actions for deviations Stay updated on food ingredients, additives, and relevant regulatory

requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, shelf life, and manufacturing efficiency What You’ll Need To Succeed Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, Biotechnology, industrial chemistry or related fields. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship experience in QA/QC or food production is an added advantage. Knowledge of food safety systems, internal audits, and regulatory documentation.

Strong skills in report writing, critical thinking, communication, and time management. Able to work in a farm environment and conduct routine field inspections. Added Advantage Exposure to meat processing, frankfurter production, or food R&D projects Internship experience in food manufacturing or product development Knowledge of food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, or ISO 22000 How To Apply Interested?
