HPPSC releases separate admit cards for the Preliminary and Main examinations. Candidates must download the hall ticket from hppsc.hp.gov.in using their User ID and password, verify all details, affix a self-attested passport photo in the space provided and carry valid photo ID to the exam centre.

Reporting time and gate closing time are printed on your admit card — reach the centre early.

Prelims Paper I (General Studies) Morning session — 2 hours (as on admit card)
Prelims Paper II (Aptitude Test) Afternoon session — 2 hours (as on admit card)
Mains papers 3 hours each — schedule printed on individual admit card
Reporting time As mentioned on hall ticket — reach 30–60 min early
Entry closing No entry after gate-closing time on admit card

How to Download Admit Card

  1. Go to hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc and click 'Download Admit Card' (upper right corner).
  2. Enter User ID, password and verification code shown on screen.
  3. Click Submit and wait for the admit card PDF to load.
  4. Verify name, roll number, DOB, exam date, centre and reporting time.
  5. Download the PDF and take a colour printout.
  6. Affix a latest self-attested passport-size photograph in the space provided on the printout.
  7. Carry admit card with valid photo ID (Aadhaar, voter ID, passport or driving licence).

  • Blades, scissors, whiteners and stationery bags
  • Books, notes and study material of any kind
  • Bags except transparent water bottle as permitted
