We have an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team developing the next generation of technology that will help shape the future of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions that integrate seamlessly with a broader ecosystem of embedded electronics, connected devices, and mechanical systems.
You will contribute across the product development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through verification, validation, and product launch, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will collaborate closely with software, electrical, systems, and mechanical engineers to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality products.

We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to develop and maintain applications running on embedded Linux devices within a regulated medical device environment. This is an individual contributor role requiring the application of professional engineering expertise, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing user interfaces using Qt, enabling communication between embedded devices, supporting system integration activities, and troubleshooting deployed applications. Working closely with embedded software, electronics, systems, and product development teams, the engineer will apply established engineering principles and analytical problem-solving skills to deliver robust, high-quality solutions. \n \n Technical
Responsibilities\n \n \n \n Independently research, design, develop, modify, and verify software solutions, prototypes, and bench-level test activities with minimal supervision.\n \n Investigate technical challenges, identify potential solutions, and evaluate options against component, subsystem, and system-level
requirements.\n \n Conduct technical research and feasibility studies to support product development and design decisions.\n \n Translate user, system, and design
\n \n Generate, review, and maintain software lifecycle documentation, including
requirements, architecture, design specifications, risk assessments, defect tracking, and test documentation.\n \n Work closely with cross-functional teams including systems, electronics, quality, regulatory, and product development engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.\n \n \n \n Business
Responsibilities\n \n \n \n Demonstrate advanced understanding of customer needs and design inputs.\n \n Demonstrate proficiency with product’s intended use and clinical procedures.\n \n Learn how the financial models are constructed.\n \n \n \n Med Device Compliance\n \n \n \n Follow fundamental industry standards, design
requirements and test strategies which apply to regulatory
requirements.\n \n Independently create or refine engineering documentation, such as the Design History file.\n \n Follow R&D procedure like design controls and risk management, per the Quality Management System.\n \n \n \n General

Qualifications\n \n \n \n Experience with integrated development environments (IDE) for projects.\n \n Experience in User interface development in C/C++ or relevant embedded devices frameworks.\n \n Experience with software tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code coverage and techniques for analyzing software.\n \n Software Development & Process Experience.\n \n Experience estimating software development effort, timelines, and resource
requirements for assigned tasks.\n \n Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.\n \n Experience using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and
