Job overview and responsibility We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP BASIS and SECURITY Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for for managing and maintaining the SAP environment with a strong emphasis on security measures and compliance.

This role ensures the optimal performance, reliability, and security of our SAP systems. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis and Security, possess strong English communication skills, and be available to work at least 4 hours in the US time zone.

Key

Responsibilities System Administration: - Administer and support SAP Basis components, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and tuning of SAP systems. Configure and maintain SAP components. - Monitor and manage SAP system performance to ensure reliability and availability. - Collaborate with IT, business teams, and external partners to identify and resolve system issues, and implement improvements.

Security Management: - Design, implement, and manage SAP security policies. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits. - Provide expertise in managing user roles and authorizations. - Diagnose and resolve system and security-related issues. Documentation: - Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP BASIS and SECURITY configurations. - Keep documentation up to date with changes and upgrades.

Required skills and experiences - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS and SECURITY administration. - Proven experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and other SAP technologies. - Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including user roles and authorizations. - Proficiency in performing SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving system issues. - Proficient in English, both written and verbal. - Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. - Availability to work at least 4 hours in the US time zone. Preferred skills and experiences - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
