AFS is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and support our client on a full-time basis in Reston, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD.

This role requires a technically skilled professional with strong hands‑on experience across programming, database management, containerization, virtualization, and security practices. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in multiple programming or scripting languages, demonstrate proficiency in SQL and modern database technologies, and show practical capability with container or virtualized environments.

Candidates must also have proven experience implementing security and compliance measures, including vulnerability scanning, governance tools, and secure data or API handling. This position is suited for someone who can apply broad technical expertise to support reliable, secure, and efficient systems within a dynamic environment.
