This role focuses on executing integrated marketing campaigns, maintaining digital platforms, promoting key programs and events, and coordinating with external consultants and vendors. The ideal candidate has strong nonprofit marketing experience, excellent content creation skills, and a passion for storytelling and mission-driven engagement. This role is designed with future growth in mind.

As our clients visibility and reach expands, this position offers the opportunity to grow into a Director-level role, with increased ownership of strategy and leadershipKey ResponsibilitiesBrand Integration & Content DevelopmentSupport the execution of rebranding initiative by applying the new brand identity across digital, print, and event communicationsEnsure consistency in brand voice, visuals, and messaging across all materials and platformsDraft compelling, audience-appropriate content for email campaigns, social media, blog posts, website updates, and press materialsCampaign ImplementationExecute strategic marketing and communications campaigns to promote programs, events, and membership opportunitiesWork with leadership to plan content calendars, engagement strategies, and campaign timelinesAnalyze email and social media engagement metrics and adjust content strategy accordinglyDigital Marketing & SEOMaintain and update the website (WordPress), ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned with SEO best practicesImplement basic SEO strategies and coordinate with consultants as needed to improve site visibility and search performanceSupport the development of user journeys and audience targeting across digital channelsCollaborate with external branding, design, and marketing consultants to execute campaign elements and creative deliverablesCoordinate RFPs, timelines, and materials with external vendors in alignment with organizational prioritiesEnsure quality and consistency across all externally developed assetsEvent & Membership MarketingPartner with the Events Manager to develop and implement promotional strategies flagship eventsCreate digital and print materials to support registration, sponsorship visibility, and on-site experienceSupport real-time social media and live coverage during key eventsCollaborate with the Membership Coordinator to develop marketing assets and campaigns that support recruitment, retention, and engagementQualificationsRequired:3–5 years of marketing or communications experience, in a nonprofit setting.

Demonstrated experience developing content across platforms (email, web, social)Familiarity with website content management (preferably WordPress) and email marketing platformsWorking knowledge of SEO best practices and digital engagement metricsExcellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detailCollaborative, self-directed, and comfortable working with both internal teams and external partnersPreferred:Experience with branding or rebranding initiativesFamiliarity with education or education technology sectorsExperience with platforms like Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and project management toolsUnderstanding of association management software (AMS), Cvent, or similar platformsUp to 15%, including support at major events such as Spring onsite meetings as neededPhysical RequirementsThis role is primarily computer-based and requires prolonged periods of sitting and screen time.

Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required for event support.
