Pay: $100,000/yearLocation: Summit, NJOffice Policy: Hybrid, flexibleKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Data Preparation & ReconciliationAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for insurance entities and management reportingPrepare monthly premium, loss, and commission entriesValidate claims reporting and escrow account activityPrepare reporting schedules and dashboards for management and board reportingReinsurance SupportMaintain reinsurance billing and inventoryReconcile reinsurance data inputs and help prepare supporting schedulesReporting & Analytics EvolutionSupport large data pulls and manipulate raw data into insights for finance leadershipPerform routine data reconciliations and investigate changesAssist with testing of automated systems prior to releaseEstablish new Excel reporting templates as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or insurance operationsPrior exposure to P&C insurance preferred; experience with reinsurance a plusExcel skills (PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP)Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plusStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills.
