Software Engineer, contract hire (Fullstack - ReactJS/PHP or Hack)

Job description

This is a contract hire, with the contract ending on the 31 December 2026. Responsibilities: Propose and drive technical design solutions, clearly communicating complex features and system architectures. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Support, and other cross-functional teams to define and refine project specifications. Design, implement, and test (unit and end-to-end) complex features, ensuring timely delivery of project releases. Develop front-end interfaces and underlying APIs, or backend systems using technologies such as React JS , Hack/PHP , GraphQL, and other modern languages. Build scalable consumer-facing products and features on a large scale. Follow best practices in software development, from code implementation to release, while taking on increasingly complex projects. Work with Product, Platform, and Operations teams to build and scale fully automated platforms. Requirements: Proficient with React JS and/or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Proficient with Hack/PHP and GraphQL. Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for full-stack projects with measurable impact. Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of driving solutions across teams. Experience influencing and working effectively with senior engineers across organizations. Proven ability to deliver complex projects within deadlines. Experience leading cross-functional or large-scale engineering efforts. Proficiency with decentralized source control tools like Git or Mercurial in a collaborative team environment.
