Job Description This position is forCentre for Research on Intelligent Software Engineering (RISE). Survey existing toolkits on incident response and digital forensics for AI systems. Identify weaknesses of existing approaches. Work with the research scientists of the project and implement the proposed approaches on real-world AI systems. Evaluate the relevance and effectiveness of the proposed approaches. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on AI safety. Minimum 1 years of relevant research experience in AI. Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python will be positively considered/is required. Proven track record and professional experience in AI safety. Demonstrated experience and know-how on AI. Excellent working knowledge of LLMs and agentic frameworks. Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions. Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box. Applicants with research publications in AI safety area will be advantageous. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
