Job description

Responsible for delivery of patients' service in the work area in a personalized, specialized and cost-effective way in accordance to established hospital policies, procedures and standard of practices. Primary Responsibilities and Duties To assess for mental health issues, provide case formulation and recommendations for treatment. To provide appropriate counseling / psychotherapy for identified inpatients and outpatients. To contribute, as part of an inter-disciplinary team, in the overall care plan for the patient. As part of an inter-disciplinary team, to facilitate transition to adult-care. To develop or improve on workflow for better patient care. To initiate and implement new psycho-social programmes To assist in the development of materials for teaching and training. Provide in-service training for department staff as needed. Requirements: Min.
