Identifying and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities. Working with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules. Ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand without overstocking. Analyzing market trends and consumer preferences to make informed purchasing decisions. Placing orders for products and ensuring timely delivery. Maintaining accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information. Working with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to align purchasing decisions with company goals.
