L3 Engineer (Server Maintenance or Network Device Maintenance or Data Center Facility Maintenance )

Job description

Direct and oversee daily operations and maintenance activities across data center facilities to ensure high standards of reliability, efficiency and securityManage the execution of Move, Add and Change (MAC) processes, including deployment of IT hardware and structured cabling installationsLead the identification and resolution of hardware and cabling issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuityEnforce adherence to structured cabling standards (FTP, UTP, Optical Fiber) and implement industry best practices for data center operationsLeadership & Team ManagementProvide strategic leadership and day-to-day supervision of on-site teams, including training, mentoring and performance managementDefine clear objectives, track progress and conduct regular evaluations to ensure individual and team effectivenessFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability and precision in all aspects of operationsChange Management & Service DeliveryOversee complex change management initiatives and service delivery processes, ensuring alignment with operational goalsDrive timely resolution of incidents and escalations while maintaining compliance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Implement and continuously improve service management processes within a large-scale, dynamic environmentCoordinate with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure the effective and timely delivery of outsourced servicesUtilize asset management platforms, ticketing systems and data center management tools to maintain accurate inventory and streamline operationsCompliance & SafetyEnsure operational compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, as well as internal standards and policiesConduct routine audits and risk assessments, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to drive continuous improvementOverall, L3 engineers are expected to support the L1 & L2 engineers (where applicable and possible). Thus, L3 engineers may also be required to perform the Scope of Works of L1 & L2 engineers.All Engineers will be qualified the following skills:Server SkillsProficiency on mainstream server architecture and configurationProficiency on mainstream server installation, deployment, diagnostic troubleshootingProficiency on Windows & Basic of Linux config, diagnostic and troubleshootingNetwork SkillsProficiency on mainstream network device installation, deployment, diagnostic troubleshootingUnderstand basics of TCP/IP, network exchangeData Center Knowledge and SkillUnderstand IDC facility architecture and components,Understanding of Datacenter facility operation and securityStrong sense on Datacenter availability, redundancy, and reliability #J-18808-Ljbffr
