Infrastructure Engineer Internship (min 5 months)

Job description

Learning Opportunities Design and implement network solutions and improve the efficiency of current networks. Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP. Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. Arrange scheduled updates and investigate faults in the network. Work closely with senior cloud engineers and cloud architects to identify and understand use cases for automation and DevOps. Deploy and operate commercial clouds (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Develop skills in automation tools such as Python, Ansible, Chef, and Terraform. Ideal Profile Pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. Possess a keen interest in Networks, Systems, Automation, Cloud, ITIL, Project Management, and Digital Solutions. Knowledge in IT concepts (e.g., OSI, ITIL, ITSM). Knowledge in programming algorithms and coding (e.g., JavaScript, Python). Knowledge in operating systems (e.g., Linux, Microsoft).
