Job description
Key Responsibilities Provide therapeutic support to individuals, youth, and families, with a focus on concerns relating to gender fluidity, in congruence, dysphoria, identity, and/or transitioning. Provide support to clients with sexuality‑related concerns, including same‑sex attraction (SSA). Provide support to clients experiencing problematic or compulsive sexual behaviours (e.g. CSBD). Provide support to clients experiencing emotional, developmental, relational, and sexual trauma, including concerns related to identity, shame, and attachment. Conduct intake assessments, risk evaluations, and develop individualised,trauma‑informed intervention plans. Facilitate group programmes, psychoeducation sessions, and workshops on topics such as human sexuality, identity, relationships, and healthy coping. Engage in community outreach and training, including collaborations with schools, parents, and partner organisations (including SSA‑sensitive contexts). Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, in accordance with ethical and PDPA requirements. Participate in clinical supervision, case discussions, and continuous professional development. Support research, programme development, and grant reporting where required. Candidate Requirements Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field. Preferably 0–3 years of clinical experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Demonstrated interest or exposure in gender concerns, sexuality, same‑sex attraction (SSA), and/or compulsive sexual behaviours (CSBD). Strong foundation in trauma‑informed care, family systems, and human sexuality frameworks. Registered or eligible for registration with: Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), or Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), where applicable. Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with diverse client backgrounds. Experience working with youth, families, community or faith‑based settings will be an advantage. Ability to handle sensitive and complex cases with professionalism, empathy, and appropriate boundaries. Proficiency in English; additional languages (Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, dialects) will be an advantage.
