Manage and coordinate stakeholder relations and local content initiatives in line with project
requirements and regulatory obligations. The role involves engaging with local communities, government bodies, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration, compliance, and sustainable development. Duties and
responsibilities Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies that align with project goals and local content policies. Coordinate local content initiatives to maximize the involvement of local workforce, suppliers, and businesses. Serve as the primary liaison between the project team, local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Monitor and report on compliance with local content regulations and contractual obligations.
Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and public consultations. Prepare and maintain documentation related to stakeholder engagement, grievances, and local content reporting. Collaborate with project management and other departments to ensure integration of local content objectives into project execution. Identify opportunities for capacity building and development of local suppliers and workforce.
Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally. Support the preparation of periodic reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Social Sciences, Business, Communications, or related field with over 7 years of relevant experience. Master’s Degree (MSc) in a related field with over 5 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement principles and local content regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups including government officials, community leaders, and contractors. Experience in conflict resolution and grievance management. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office and stakeholder management software. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Familiarity with relevant local laws, cultural norms, and industry best practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr.
