Job Purpose: To implement safeguarding policies, promote awareness and education, respond to safeguarding concerns, and work collaboratively across departments to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive culture. Job

Responsibilities Safeguarding Compliance and Risk Management Support the development and enforcement of safeguarding policies and procedures aligned with FIFA, AFC, and Saudi Federation guidelines. Conduct regular checks and contribute to safeguarding audits and risk assessments. Monitor operational practices to identify and report areas of risk or non-compliance.

Case Management and Confidential Reporting Act as a designated point of contact for reporting safeguarding concerns within the academy teams. Manage concerns or incidents with discretion, ensuring appropriate documentation and escalation in line with the club's safeguarding protocols. Maintain confidential and accurate case records using secure systems. Education and Training Assist in delivering safeguarding education and awareness sessions to players, staff, and families.

Promote understanding of rights,

responsibilities, and how to report concerns. Help track safeguarding training completion and needs across departments. Collaborate with the player care team to provide holistic care and support for players. Be available to listen, advise, and support where appropriate in other areas of player care and safeguarding. Contribute to creating a positive, trustworthy environment for young players.

Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with safeguarding manager to train coaches, medical staff, operations, and player care to embed safeguarding across all areas of the academy. Build positive relationships with players and their families, promoting openness and trust. Liaise with external safeguarding bodies as required under supervision of the Safeguarding Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications: Degree in Sports Science, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field. Diploma in Sports Management (CIES, FIFA, or LDI Accredited). FIFA Guardian safeguarding qualification. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Experience in Player Care, Child Protection, Social Work. Knowledge of SAFF/MoS regulations. Experience working with children, youth in sports, education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Proven leadership and team management skills. Experience in working with youth football teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with players and parents. Why Join Al-Qadsiah?
