Planning Engineer

Proficiency in managing and overseeing projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and successful completion. Strong analytical abilities to assess complex project data, identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and propose effective solutions to maintain project timelines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project objectives and timelines. Sound knowledge and expertise in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, to efficiently create, manage, and update project schedules.

A keen eye for detail to meticulously monitor project plans, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaborative relationships, and ensuring alignment between planning, execution, and project objectives. Develop mitigation plans to address any possible delays or issues that may affect the project timeline.

Daily monitoring of work and report any occurrences, which might create a delay or variation in the specified work. Track project workflow from initiation to delivery and record variances on a log book. Coordinate and communicate between teams to ensure timely material availability. Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and to customers. Identify potential project risks related to schedule, resources, and external factors.

Participate in preparing variation orders and time extension claims. Allocate resources effectively and ensure their availability as per the project's needs. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of department objectives.
