Director, Financial Accounting Operations

Own the group’s day-to-day accounting operations across HUMAIN, and other entities. The goal is accurate, timely and controlled books, and an efficient month-end close.

Key

responsibilities:Lead the monthly, quarterly and year-end close, and deliver accurate trial balances and reconciliations on time. Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations for all entities. Manage the full procure-to-pay cycle (AP) and order-to-cash cycle (AR), including vendor payments, billing and revenue operations. Own the fixed asset register, capitalization, depreciation and asset tagging.

Design and maintain strong internal controls, policies and procedures in line with IFRS and local regulations. Work with Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury and audit teams, and act as the main contact for operational audit queries. Build, lead and develop the operations team, and set clear KPIs for each function.

Qualifications and experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 12+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years leading accounting operations teams. Strong IFRS knowledge and hands-on experience with multi-entity, group-level accounting. Proven ERP experience and a track record of improving close and transactional processes. Experience in a fast-growing or technology-sector organization is a plus.
