Job description

Position Summary Position responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Own and resolve customer problems or incidents until customer satisfaction and agreement with Service Level Agreements. Perform work on low‑complexity products and services, specifically financial/ATM products. Make minor repairs and replace components on TierI equipment such as PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, front‑end POS systems, ATMs, kiosks, and single pocket proof encoders. Assist in site preparation, including cable installation, staging of equipment, and minor equipment testing. Perform modular swaps and unit replacements as required. Respond to all customer concerns or problems by resolving them or escalating to the appropriate associate, team member, territory manager, or Control Tower. Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels at the local level. Represent NCR in a manner that reflects positively on the company’s image and reputation. Perform periodic preventative maintenance, diagnose problems, and replace components at the module level. Follow security procedures when working with ATMs and at financial institutions. Manage NCR assets used in delivery of customer services, maintain parts inventory and record keeping. Accurately and promptly report calls, activity, expenses, and billing activities. Travel as required, carrying and lifting tool kits and parts (1–50 lbs), and perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. Work rotating shifts and collaborate with Call Center Staff via PDA to recover machines, and with Security Escort Officer. Required Qualifications Valid driving license. Ability to use Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems. Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support. Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a technical field.
