WAPDA – Decade of Dams PAKISTAN WATER & POWER DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY JOB OPPORTUNITY WAPDA is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated candidate against the following post on contract basis.

He/she will oversee, manage, and lead all medical, clinical, and administrative operations of WAPDA hospitals and dispensaries spread across the country to ensure high-quality healthcare services: Post Director General (Medical Services) BPS 20 Place of Posting Lahore Age Limit (Max) 62 Years Qualification: M. B. B. S or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.

Experience: 20 years of service in Public, Private, Military Hospital / Institution including Medical Administration experience of 05 years. Note: 03 years or more experience as MS / DMS in Public, Private, Military Hospital / Institution will be given preference. Ability to lead nationwide medical services and set long-term health policies. Strong command over hospital operations, clinical governance, and quality standards.

Skills in budgeting, procurement, and efficient allocation of medical resources. Command over Pakistan Medical Commission, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, Public Procurement Regulatory Authority rules, and healthcare licensing

requirements. Ability to monitor medical set up, performance management and capacity building of officers/staff. Ability to plan and respond to outbreaks, emergencies, and health risks etc. To assist / provide input for maintaining productive and effective relationship with client formations.

The appointment shall initially be for a period of 03 years on lumpsum basis with 06 months' probation extendable subject to satisfactory performance/requirement of the organization without any consideration for regularization at any stage. Pay Package Lumpsum package of Rs. 525,000/- per month (inclusive of all perks, privileges and facilities). Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and no TA/DA will be admissible.
