Technical Analyst – Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX)Hiring for one of our Brokerage house in Karachi.We are seeking a motivated Technical Analyst to support our brokerage operations on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The role focuses on technical market analysis, chart interpretation, trading strategies, and market intelligence to assist brokers, dealers, and clients in making informed trading and investment decisions while ensuring compliance with SECP regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct technical analysis of PSX-listed securities using price action, chart patterns, and technical indicatorsMonitor and analyze KSE-100, KSE-30, sector indices, and overall market trendsPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical research reports, market outlooks, and trading recommendationsIdentify key support and resistance levels, trend reversals, breakout opportunities, and momentum signalsUtilize technical indicators such as Moving Averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci Retracements, and Volume AnalysisTrack market sentiment, trading volumes, and institutional activity to identify potential trading opportunitiesMonitor PSX announcements, corporate actions, earnings releases, and news events for their technical market impactSupport brokers, dealers, and relationship managers with timely technical insights and trade ideasDevelop and maintain technical screening models, watchlists, and trading dashboardsEnsure all research activities comply with SECP, PSX, and internal compliance guidelinesMaintain historical market data, charts, and technical research databases for ongoing market coverageRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, or a related fieldStrong understanding of Pakistan's capital markets and PSX market structureKnowledge of technical analysis principles, charting techniques, and trading strategiesProficiency in charting platforms, market analysis tools, and MS ExcelStrong analytical, quantitative, and report‑writing skillsAbility to interpret market data, trading patterns, and price movements effectivelyPreferred / Added AdvantageExperience in a PSX‑registered brokerage house or financial institutionFamiliarity with SECP regulations, PSX rules, and compliance requirementsHands‑on experience with trading terminals, charting software, and technical analysis toolsCertifications such as CFTe (Certified Financial Technician), CMT (Chartered Market Technician), CFA (Level I / pursuing), or related market certificationsKnowledge of derivatives, market psychology, and risk management techniquesUnderstanding of algorithmic trading concepts and quantitative analysisOther DetailsExperience: 2 + years as an Equity Technical AnalystLocation: KarachiTimings: Monday to Friday #J-18808-Ljbffr
