With a focus on employee satisfaction, Savvital is a highly sought-after employer in its industry.About The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accounting Associate with 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, and U.S. tax preparation. This role is ideal for professionals who have strong ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and hands-on experience on U.S. accounting.ResponsibilitiesU.S. Tax PreparationPrepare and assist with U.S. individual tax returns, specifically Form 1040.Work with tax data using Ultra Tax or similar tax tools.Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations and filing deadlines.Bookkeeping & Accounts PayableHandle day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks.Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing.Maintain accurate general ledger records following double-entry accounting principles.Bank & Vendor ReconciliationPerform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.Reconcile vendor statements against Accounts Payable sub-ledgers.Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Financial Reporting SupportAssist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.Support month-end close activities and ensure data accuracy.Compliance & Process ImprovementEnsure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.Identify process gaps and support improvements for efficiency and accuracy.Client & Team CollaborationCommunicate with clients to gather financial and tax-related information.Provide timely updates on assigned accounting and tax tasks.Support internal documentation, checklists, and SOPs.What We're Looking ForA 4-Year Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and reconciliations.Prior working knowledge of QuickBooks is a must.Solid understanding of Debit/Credit (double-entry accounting).Experience managing a small team or overseeing junior staff is a plus.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.Work TimingsThis is a full-time role with flexible US Hours' Shift.
