Hitech Industrial Group is a leading Saudi-based manufacturer and solution provider specializing in security fencing systems, perimeter protection products, barriers, gates, steel fabrication, warehouse racking systems, storage solutions, gabions, and industrial infrastructure products. We are expanding our engineering and estimation team in Lahore and are looking for an experienced professional to support our international business operations. Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor Cum Estimator with hands-on experience in steel manufacturing and fabrication industries. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently reviewing drawings, performing quantity take-offs, preparing accurate cost estimates, developing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting tender submissions for local and international projects. Candidates with experience in fencing systems, steel fabrication, barriers, gates, warehouse racking, storage systems, and related industrial products will be strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Quantity Take-Off & Estimation Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements. Perform detailed quantity take-offs from AutoCAD drawings and technical documents. Prepare accurate material take-offs (MTOs) and bills of quantities (BOQs). Develop detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, subcontractors, logistics, overheads, and profit margins. Prepare rate analysis and pricing models for standard and customized products. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients and tenders. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and sales teams during bid preparation. Review RFQs, tender documents, and contractual requirements. Maintain tender records and estimation databases. Product Costing & Price Management Develop and maintain standard product price lists. Analyze manufacturing costs and recommend pricing improvements. Continuously update cost databases based on material and market fluctuations. Support management with profitability analysis and bid strategy. Technical Support Prepare or modify AutoCAD drawings when required. Support sales and business development teams with technical clarifications. Coordinate with design and production teams for optimized project execution. Business Development Support (Preferred) Participate in client meetings when required. Support negotiation of commercial offers. Assist in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives. Required Qualifications Education Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering Discipline. Only candidates from recognized Government Colleges of Technology, Government Polytechnic Institutes, or equivalent reputed public-sector technical institutions will be considered. Professional Certifications (Preferred) Quantity Surveying Certification Certified Cost Professional (CCP) Tendering or Contract Management Certifications Required Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Quantity Take-Off Technical Proposal Preparation Commercial Proposal Preparation Industry Experience Must Include One or More of the Following: Security Fencing Systems Gates and Access Control Products Road Safety Barriers Warehouse Racking Systems Storage Systems Gabion Systems Required Skills Technical Skills Quantity Take-Off BOQ Preparation Rate Analysis Technical Proposal Writing Commercial Proposal Preparation Material Take-Off (MTO) AutoCAD Microsoft Excel (Advanced) Microsoft Word Preferred Software Experience AutoCAD PlanSwift CostX Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a professional who: Can independently prepare complete estimates from drawings.
