About the Opportunity The Value Engineering is expanding its team and is looking for talented and detail-oriented Metal Sheet Designers to join our growing workforce of 600+ engineers serving clients across the United States. Key Responsibilities Prepare and develop detailed metal sheet design drawings and fabrication documents. Create accurate 2D and 3D models using industry-standard design software. Coordinate with US-based customers to understand project requirements and design specifications. Experience in HVAC ductwork estimating and sheet metal fabrication. Have design knowledge for HVAC duct. Be familiar with SMACNA standards for the HVAC duct. Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and construction drawings. Proficiency in quantity takeoff and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, or similar). Knowledge of HVAC duct fabrication methods, materials, and industry standards. Review project drawings, layouts, and technical details to ensure compliance with project standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality designs within project timelines. Address design revisions and customer feedback in a professional and timely manner. Maintain proper documentation and project records. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory). 2–3 years of experience in Metal Sheet Design. Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, detailing, and drafting. Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Communication Requirements Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Strong written communication and email correspondence skills.
