Job Advertisement – International Trade Specialist Time: 10AM to 6PM About the Role We are seeking an experienced and results-driven International Trade Specialist to manage sourcing, import/export operations, supplier relationships, and international trade activities across fertilizers, petrochemicals, industrial chemicals, agricultural commodities, and fresh produce. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in international procurement, commodity trading, logistics management, customs compliance, and market development across Central Asia, China, the Middle East, and GCC markets. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage international sourcing channels and supplier networks. Lead import and export operations for fertilizers, chemicals, minerals, and agricultural products. Identify new business opportunities and trading partnerships. Coordinate international logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transportation. Prepare and manage trade documentation, contracts, LC documentation, invoices, and shipping documents. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and pricing assessments. Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and trading houses. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Commerce, or a related field. 5–8 years of experience in international trade, import/export operations, procurement, or commodity trading. Experience in fertilizers, petrochemicals, chemicals, agricultural commodities, or industrial products. Strong understanding of Incoterms 2020, customs regulations, trade finance, and Letters of Credit (LCs). Excellent negotiation, sourcing, and business development skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and trade documentation tools. Preferred Experience Working with suppliers and buyers across China, Central Asia, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and other GCC markets. Experience in export development for Pakistani agricultural products, especially fresh fruits and mangoes.
