Financial Controller

Overview The Financial Controller is responsible for the financial planning & analysis required to drive the company’s business strategy. The Financial Controller will develop, maintain, and explain financial analysis results and models to the executive leadership team and will focus on strategies that help drive increased profitability, process efficiency, reduced costs, and overall business improvement.

accounting, estimating and operations Review and recommend data entry methods to improve the accuracy of financial data and the efficiency of reporting Supervise all accounting activities, including account payables and account receivables, and track and ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax, and labor laws Support the processing of payroll, and ensure integrity in the bookkeeping process, and daily reconciliation of all bank accounts Assist in the implementation of multiple system integrations to establish sound controls and the ability to measure the financial and operational outcomes of the business Implement and maintain policies and procedures for the finance and accounting department Prepare executive level summary reports and PowerPoint presentations

Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master’s Degree Preferred CA, ACMA, or ICMA qualification is highly desirable and will be given preference. Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting preferred Construction industry experience preferred Thorough knowledge of corporate finance, investment analysis, financial modeling. Familiarity with US accounting and tax and software like Quickbooks, Sage etc.
