Overview Grade Level: L2 Location: Islamabad Last Date to Apply: 11th June 2026 Expert Financial Accounting is responsible for managing the financial close and reporting process while ensuring accurate accounting and compliance across the organization. The role involves partnering with business and cross-functional teams to support accounting assessments, statutory and group reporting, and timely closure of external audits in line with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. It also focuses on strengthening financial controls, improving reporting efficiency, and driving process automation and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will be part of a 9-member Corporate Accounting team. Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely accounting across business divisions and subsidiaries in compliance with IFRS, Group Accounting Policies, and local regulatory requirements. Manage monthly financial close and reporting process; including monitoring and review of processes pertaining to monthly financial close and identifying opportunities for process automation and re-engineering. Collaborate closely with Service Operations and other business functions to ensure smooth and effective financial operations. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to assess complex accounting matters and determine appropriate accounting treatment under applicable IFRS. Manage timely group and statutory financial reporting and ensure smooth execution and closure of external audits. Prepare board materials and presentations, as required, through coordination with relevant stakeholders across the organization. Qualifications and Requirements Preferred qualification: Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW). Minimum 3-4 years of related work experience. Proficiency in MS-office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Strong presentation and communication skills, with ability to develop clear and impactful board-level materials. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
