About the role Be responsible for developing and executing training programs, tools, and resources to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales force. This role focuses on equipping sales teams with the necessary skills, knowledge, and methodologies to drive sales growth and ensure consistent performance. The individual will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify training needs, design impactful learning initiatives, and implement sales enablement strategies that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Sales Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs tailored to different sales channels and roles. Conduct onboarding sessions for new sales hires, ensuring they understand products, services, and sales methodologies. Organize workshops, coaching sessions, and e‑learning programs to enhance sales competencies. Keep training materials updated in line with industry best practices and evolving sales strategies. Sales Enablement Strategy: Work with sales leadership to identify skill gaps and develop solutions for performance improvement. Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, playbooks, and resources to enhance productivity. Ensure sales teams have access to up‑to‑date product knowledge, competitive insights, and customer engagement techniques. Content & Resource Development: Create training materials, presentations, sales guides, and FAQs to support learning initiatives. Develop interactive content, including case studies, role‑playing exercises, and simulation‑based training. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align training content with the latest offerings and business goals. Performance Tracking & Improvement: Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and sales performance metrics. Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement. Provide periodic reports and recommendations to senior management on sales training impact and future enhancements. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Manager Sustainability & Capability Development to align training initiatives with broader business objectives. Coordinate with the Senior Manager Business Development and Senior Manager Sales Promotion & Marketing to ensure training programs support market expansion and promotional efforts. Engage with regional sales managers and team leads to understand real‑world challenges and tailor training accordingly. Continuous Learning & Industry Insights: Stay updated with the latest sales training methodologies, learning technologies, and industry best practices. Leverage new technologies and digital platforms to enhance training effectiveness. Benchmark against industry leaders to ensure best‑in‑class sales training programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field; an MBA is preferred. Experience 2–4 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or sales operations, preferably in the telecom industry.
