About the program Emerging Talent Fellowship is a 3-month project-based program designed to equip fresh graduates for the professional world through hands‑on industry experience and structured mentorship. As an early‑career development initiative, this program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands by engaging fellows in real business projects within a dynamic corporate environment. Consumer Business Division Details Number of Roles/Projects: 2 Employment Type: Internship. Duration: 3 months. Location: Islamabad, Pakistan (On‑Site). Project 1: Product Planning & Strategy Fellow The candidate will work as an effective team member to work with the Product Planning & Strategy domain to support business case development for projects & products, assist in managing the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, and support channel efficiency and business growth initiatives while gaining hands‑on exposure to telecom business operations. Your Project Goals will include: The main purpose of this project is to support the team in business planning activities within S&D and contribute towards strategic initiatives. This includes exposure to the following areas: Market insights inline with products and channel strategy Network health and site profitability Maintaining Product Roadmaps for GSM segment and coming up with new product level initiatives Assisting in tracking Prepaid Gross Add, recharge performance & bundle portfolio. Campaign effectiveness measurement. Responsible for New Product level initiatives (GSM) and keep track of product update and performance Competition Insights for Products and coordination with channel distribution team to address critical issues Contribute to S&D strategy formulation and liaison with all stakeholders. Developing synergies between GSM and FS business Your Typical day at work Campaign effectiveness, post campaign analysis and retail response Conducting market surveys Working closely with all the stakeholders for roadmap discussions and planning Conducting belt level analysis and preparing penetrative strategies Keeping a close eye on customer and competitor insights for better product planning Providing performance business insights to stake holders which help them to take better business decisions Preparing product forecasts Foreseeing the challenges and its impacts on business and suggesting ways to overcome these challenges Executing plans at channel end in collaboration with on‑ground teams for product uptake. Based on data analysis highlighting areas of improvement and offering solutions to resolve issues QOS analysis & future actions based on the outcome of analysis Identify new areas for improvement and operational efficiency Analyze day to day performance of channels & suggesting required changes to effectively achieve the desired results / targets Closed coordination with BI team to get customer insights and consumer treads Coordination with Micro finance banking partner to manage campaigns and overall business Energize and lead meetings with circles and regions around multiple performance related discussions. What we are looking for? Education: MBA/BBA/BSCS Work Experience: Fresh graduates or up to 6 months experience with basic understanding of data analytics tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Tableau or Excel would be preferred. Functional Skills I Knowledge Areas Someone who is passionate about understanding customers (internal & external), knowing their needs and expectations and working towards exceeding them A dynamic personality with eagerness to learn and complete tasks within timelines. A person who is able to work independently with minimum supervision, and move forward ways on how to do things effectively and efficiently. Good team player and excellent at building relationships with co‑workers and external vendors Organized and can manage several projects and/or activities at a time. Someone who is willing to take initiative, to listen, to learn and able to respond positively to challenges and criticism Someone interested in product planning, analytics and business strategy. Someone who is structured and confident in presentations Exposure to coordination with cross functional teams would be an added advantage. Project 2: Sales Performance and Reporting Fellow As the Sales Performance & Reporting Fellow, you will support the Sales Operations team by delivering accurate daily KPI reporting and generating actionable insights to enable sales teams to achieve their targets. Your Project goals will include: Performance Reporting & Analytics by preparing and publishing daily KPI reports, including: Gross Adds Recharge & Recharger iFCA Distribution metrics Retail Visits Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports to stakeholders. Track historical trends and highlight variances versus targets. Reporting Automation: Improve existing reporting processes to reduce manual effort and turnaround time and support dashboard development for quick performance visibility. Sales Enablement & Performance Support Provide analytical support and insights to help sales teams improve productivity and target achievement. Identify performance gaps and flag early warning signals to relevant stakeholders. Support performance reviews and management discussions through data-backed insights. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Distribution, and other support teams to align data and reporting requirements and act as a proactive team player, supporting ad‑hoc analysis and business requests. Your Typical Day at Work: Design, update, and maintain performance dashboards and reports. Analyze daily and monthly performance versus targets and historical benchmarks. Share insights and summaries with sales leadership and field teams. Respond to urgent reporting requests. What we’re looking for: Education: Master's degree in business administration/CS/Data Analytics Work experience: Fresh graduates or up to 6 months of experience. Prior internship or coursework in data analysis or reporting is an advantage. Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas: Basic analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in MS Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.
