About the Role DgTx Tax Consultancy is a joint initiative revolutionizing digital taxation across the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. As part of a team backed by major industry partners, the Audit professional will help ensure client compliance with local and international tax regulations, identify control weaknesses, and support delivery of high-quality assurance and advisory services to corporate clients. Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and document audit engagements for clients across multiple sectors, focusing on tax compliance and control effectiveness. Assess tax positions, review filings and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and identify exposure. Perform risk-based testing of processes, controls, and reconciliations related to indirect and direct tax obligations. Prepare clear working papers, audit reports, and management letters with practical observations and remediation recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, accounting, technology) to gather evidence and validate complex transactions. Stay current with UAE tax legislation, VAT rules, and relevant international tax developments; advise clients on implications and compliance actions. Support client meetings, present findings, and help prioritize remediation activities to improve control environments. The role is client-facing and requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality deliverables. You will work within a fast-evolving regulatory environment and contribute to building scalable audit processes across the firm. Job Specification Practical experience in tax audits, VAT reviews, or tax compliance engagements. Strong understanding of UAE VAT, corporate tax concepts, and the tax filing lifecycle. Proficiency with audit documentation and working papers; ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports. Analytical skills to evaluate transactions, reconciliations, and control effectiveness. Familiarity with accounting standards and tax-related accounting entries. Competence in Excel for analysis; experience with accounting or audit software is an advantage. Effective communication skills for client interactions and written reports. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time across multiple engagements, and meet deadlines.
